Position Summary

 

The Social Media Junior Specialist is responsible for publishing requests on various social media platforms, managing incoming requests, generating reports, and ensuring effective stakeholder management. This role requires proficiency in social media tools and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.

 

A day in the Life...

 

  • Social Media Publishing: Create and publish requests on social media platforms, ensuring content is engaging, accurate, and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Request Management: Receive and manage incoming requests, ensuring timely responses and appropriate resolution. Prioritize and escalate urgent or critical requests as needed.
  • Report Generation: Generate regular reports on social media request metrics, including response times, engagement rates, and customer feedback. Analyze data to identify trends and insights.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather information, coordinate responses, and ensure consistent messaging across social media channels.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate existing processes and identify areas for improvement. Propose and implement enhancements to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Social Media Tools Proficiency: Stay up to date with the latest social media tools, trends, and best practices. Leverage these tools to optimize content creation, scheduling, and performance tracking.
  • Quality Assurance: Regularly review and monitor social media content to ensure compliance with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Crisis Management: Assist in managing social media crises or negative feedback, working closely with the appropriate teams to address issues promptly and effectively.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing social media platforms and publishing content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with social media trends and tools.
