Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Experts Category Lead will act as the key point of contact/pivot between the categories, the Digital Marketing Experts team and IBS. The goal is to ensure deeper category knowledge in an integrated way, to contribute and leverage insights for the Digital Marketing Experts team growth and increased Digital category support/know-how. This person is responsible for the category evolution of the Digital Marketing Experts in close collaboration with eBusiness Leads. Managing team members to bring value to the business by ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery and integration. Identifying, analyzing, and presenting viable integrated solutions to address business problems. This person is accountable for the recommendations provided by the experts he/she oversees to the category stakeholders. The Digital Marketing Experts Category Lead aims to achieve consistency across all Digital Marketing Experts he/she oversees, by ensuring standard ways of working and best practices implementation throughout his/her categories. The Digital Marketing Experts Category Lead is also responsible for Supporting Team Leads on Training, Interviewing, and ensuring Onboarding consistency across all Streams. The Digital Marketing Experts Category Lead is also responsible to Identify and amplify Success Stories driven by the Experts within the Categories. The Digital Marketing Experts Category Lead must be able to deal with complex organizational model, senior stakeholders and must be able to drive change and influence Experts (with integrity) on following Group Marketing and IBS service Adoption agendas.

- Deeper Category knowledge and integration: The Digital Marketing Experts Category Lead ensures deeper category knowledge in an integrated way. They act as the key point of contact between the categories, the Digital Marketing Experts team, and IBS. By leveraging insights and contributing to the growth of the Digital Marketing Experts team, they enhance digital category support and know-how.
- Category Evolution and Collaboration: The Category Lead is responsible for the category evolution of the Digital Marketing Experts in close collaboration with eBusiness Leads. They work together to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and improvement within the digital marketing categories.
- Team Management and Value Delivery: The Category Lead manages team members to bring value to the business by ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery and integration. They provide guidance, support, and resources to the team to optimize their performance and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
- Integrated Solutions and Problem Solving: The Category Lead identifies, analyzes, and presents viable integrated solutions to address business problems. They leverage their category knowledge and expertise to propose effective strategies and initiatives that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Consistency and Best Practices Implementation: The Category Lead aims to achieve consistency across all Digital Marketing Experts by ensuring standard ways of working and implementing best practices throughout the categories they oversee. This helps to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and maintain a high level of quality in the team's work.
- Training, Interviewing, and Onboarding Support: The Category Lead supports Team Leads by providing assistance in training, interviewing, and ensuring consistency in onboarding across all streams. They help to establish a structured and effective onboarding process for new team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute to the team's success.
What will make you successful
- 4-6 years eBusiness experience either at an integrated agency or in a related digital/media field.
- A clear understanding of key digital marketing levers and mix (paid, earned and owned) including but not limited to search, email, affiliates, display and social media.
- Ability to proactively and independently follow-up with business partners and teams to identify opportunities, sell-in strategies and manage projects.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions to meet common goals.
- Ability to work across many accounts/projects seamlessly and simultaneously.
- Proven leadership with strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate across multiple reporting levels, including executives.
- Excellent presentation skills. Must be able to create emails, presentations and content that is client ready, grammatically correct, and error free.
- Experience managing people, teams.
- Experience managing remote teams.
- Experience working in FMCG (marketing, sales, communication, business analytics) industry a plus.
