Position Summary
Search and Digital Commerce shape how consumers discover products, evaluate options, and convert across retailer and marketplace environments. As the Global Search & Digital Commerce Evolution Manager, you will guide the strategic evolution of our global capabilities across Search (including Retail Organic Search) and Digital Commerce (including Content Aggregation, Content Syndication, Digital Shelf Monitoring, and Amazon Back Office).
This role focuses on strategy, governance, capability building, and strengthening global ways of working. It does not include operational execution but ensures that operational teams have clear standards, strong processes, and the tools needed to deliver excellence.

Solution Evolution

Define the global strategy for Search and Digital Commerce capabilities, ensuring alignment with Group Marketing and Global Sales priorities.

Develop global frameworks, standards, and training materials that support consistent adoption across markets.

Strengthen the product information value chain, from content aggregation and enrichment to syndication and Digital Shelf monitoring.

Collaborate with Sales, Group Marketing, MSE, MarTech, and delivery teams to advance future capabilities.
Delivery & Operations
-
Drive governance and quality oversight to ensure global standards are consistently applied.

Define KPI structures for Search and Digital Commerce performance, such as Retail Search visibility, content readiness, and Digital Shelf health.

Coordinate capability-building programs across NBS centers.

Lead strategic escalations and maintain alignment across global delivery teams.
Solution Expansion

Guide the expansion of Search and Digital Commerce capabilities across new categories, markets, workflows, and retailers.

Support adoption of services including Content Aggregation, Content Syndication, Digital Shelf Monitoring, and Amazon Back Office.

Partner with Digital Marketing Experts and cross-functional teams to build robust adoption and maturity roadmaps.

Strengthen collaboration across NBS, eBusiness, Sales, Marketing, Procurement, HR, Finance, Technology, and key external partners.

What will make you successful
Experience

8–10 years of senior experience in Digital Commerce or Search, ideally within Digital Shelf ecosystems, marketplace environments, or Retail Search contexts.
Domain Knowledge

Strong understanding of the product information ecosystem, including content creation, aggregation, enrichment, syndication, and publication.

Familiarity with PIM and DAM systems, syndication tools such as Salsify and ChannelEngine, and Digital Shelf analytics platforms.
-
Solid grasp of Retail Search levers, including structured data, discoverability, and category readiness.
-
Understanding of Digital Commerce services such as Content Aggregation, Content Syndication, Digital Shelf Monitoring, and Amazon Back Office workflows.
Leadership and Ways of Working

Ability to lead in complex, multi-market environments with clarity and strategic depth.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
