Position Summary

The Packaging & Labelling Capability Building Specialist is responsible for the operationalization of a cohesive engagement, training and learning strategy for D2D cross-functional community (Marketing, Operations, Regulatory, Legal, G4Y, R&D, ESG, Application Groups, IBS, Data Management) in SBUs/GMBs and Markets across Zones. This role is critical to enable the adoption of Design to Delivery (D2D) Ways of Working (global process and suite of tools) and significantly contributes to the embedding of Design Excellence at Nestlé.

 

A day in the life of... 

  • In partnership with D2D Global Functional Leads, it drives the definition and continuous improvement of the training and community engagement strategy for D2D.
  • Responsible for the communication plan and engagement approach with D2D Champions.
  • In alignment with Global D2D Functional Strategy, coordinates the development and review of guidance and training in relevant channels (i.e. D2D Portal, GROW) for D2D Community (internal and external), engaging, when necessary, with D2D Program Roles, Global Functional Leads, Procurement or IT teams to ensure a holistic training approach and availability of up-to-date materials. What will make you successful 
  • Collaborates with Global Design team to ensure alignment of D2D capability-building approach for Design Excellence.
  • Tracks and reports on training statistics (GROW and Regional IT-led sessions) and proactively identifies training gaps and opportunities to align with Global Function Leads.
  • Foster a strong sense of community by leading a quarterly forum (Sounding Board) for learning and sharing among D2D Champions and ensure up to date communication of D2D Program activities by managing the D2D Newsletter.

 

What will make you successful  

  • Minimum 4+ years agency or in-house experience managing the graphic chain of packaging design and/or artwork projects from development to files to printer
  • Ideally experience managing end-to-end of packaging projects through CGI development, including collation of label information
  • Ideally experience as D2D Champion in SBU/GMB, Zone or Market.
  • Experience working with digital workflows, DAM, and document management
  • Experience in change management, training others and communication planning.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and attention to detail (previous projects and experience).
  • Highly proactive, motivated, and innovative, with ability and willingness to share his/her knowledge with peers and build a community.
  • A customer service mentality and attitude where the work is approached with empathy, enthusiasm, ownership, responsibility, adaptability, balance and resilience.
  • Meeting deliverable requirements
  • Ensuring good time management (including down time).
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Implementation of best practices.
  • Implementation of reporting and analytics measures, understanding of key performance indicators within user engagement and training spaces.
