Position Summary

 

For our Nestlé Business Services, we are currently looking for QA Automation Engineer. Reporting to Website Services Supervisor,  this professional will be responsible for for the quality of the Nestlé corporate/brand website projects and functional quality of technical solutions provided by the Website Content Management team and the Tech team. QA Automation Engineer is responsible for providing effective test automation solutions within allocated timeframe, making sure that Project deliverables are of high-quality, containing fewer errors, are delivered faster and compliant with Market/Brand requirements. Follow the Testing process. Ensuring visibility and traceability of testing process for high-quality deliverables. Define the scope of testing within the context of each assigned project/task. Report the appropriate test measurements and metrics to the Testing Team.

 

A day in the life of... 

 

  • During the project kickoff/start and requirement gathering stage, assist and let the team lead know of any improvements or inconsistencies. Gather requirements during walkthrough meetings.
  • Create automation test plan, and provide information such as: scope, assumptions, risks and any other area that the team member has an input on.
  • Be in charge for your individual project type/stage. Write clean high-quality test scripts to test product functionality automatically.
  • Execute tests, report progress. Notify immediately of showstoppers or issues impacting testing timelines. Report defects comprehensively.
  • Assist the team lead in daily status reports to all team members involved in Project/delivery completion.
  • Assist the team lead in the test closure tasks (e.g test closure report, official QA sign off etc.). Provide information about the overall project- its successes, areas of improvement, lessons learnt, best practices implemented, etc.

 
What will make you successful 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Upper-intermediate level of English.
  • Additional 1-2 foreign languages is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of professional QA experience in web-focused software environments.
  • Extensive experience writing and maintaining automated tests using Cypress.io (or equivalent), including debugging complex issues and optimizing test performance.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, STLC, SDLC, and Agile delivery.
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools to generate or optimize test cases, test scripts, or test data.
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (preferably Drupal 9) is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Java, C# or Python and the basics of SQL.
  • Deep knowledge of of modern web technologies including HTML, CSS, XML.
  • Familiarity with test management and defect-tracking tools such as Jira or equivalent.
  • Ability to work with ticketing and workflow tool.
  • Persistant in getting to the root of the problem.
  • Defining continuous improvement in daily activities.
  • A team oriented mentality and attitude where the work is approached with empathy, enthusiasm, ownership, responsibility, adaptability, balance and resilience.
  • Meeting deliverable requirements, service level agreements and specific targets.
  • Ensuring good time management (including down time).
  • Good communication skills (team collaboration, call, chat, email, tickets, etc.) with excellent response times.
  • Be familiar with Scrum, Agile development methodologies.
  • Working in a corporate and multi-cultural environment.
