Position Summary 

The main purpose of the Search Lead Specialist is to support the be responsible and accountable for overall operational excellence of Search teams across projects. Managing team members and workstreams to bring value to the Nestlé corporate/brand websites, ensuring consistency, high-quality standards across the websites, website and content optimization. Search Team Lead is responsible for operationalizing SEO strategy and recommendations, training other Search Specialists in order to build an extensive Search capabilities in the team. Leveraging BrightEdge and Google Search Console, Search Team Lead must ensure his team delivers monitoring and tracking of the websites performance and provides recommendations to brand managers, local SEO agencies, etc. In addition, Search Team Lead will be involved in larger Search projects like the migration of several websites, piloting and implementation of new services, etc. 

 

 A day in the life of... 

  • Act as the go-to person for any Search related topics 

  • Review and analyze the Nestlé websites for areas that can be improved and optimized 

  • Measure results of the strategy implementation with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console and BrightEdge 

  • Monitoring and reporting performance of traffic, rankings, conversions and other trends.  

  • Keep other team members up-to-date with SEO best practices and guidelines  

  • Work on specific large scale SEO projects 

  • Develop documentation 

  • Ad-hoc tasks (e.g. testing new functionalities) 

  • Collaborate with and support other projects and/or teams  

  • Review content plans with key stakeholders to align strategy with other markets 

  • Manage a team (responsible for planning, organizing resources, leading or influencing team members, controlling processes so that goals can be achieved); decision-making experience 

  • Mentor and support Search Specialists 

 

 

What will make you successful 

  • University Degree in English, Digital Media, International Relations, Business administration, or any other related field 

  • 1-2 years experience in managing a team 

  • Proven work experience with SEO or similar role; familiarity with SEO and keyword research 

  • Hands-on experience with website measurement tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SessionCam etc). 

  • Excellent writing and speaking skills in English 

  • Proven leadership and good communication skills (team collaboration, call, chat, email, tickets, etc.) with excellent response times 

  • Working with high-volume, complex tasks with great attention to detail 

  • Working in a corporate and multinational/multicultural environment 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively and independently across functions/ teams and projects 

  • High proactivity, always looking for improvement in daily duties and skill levels; good time management (including own time) 

  • Ability to make decisions 

  • Meeting deliverable requirements, service level measures and specific targets
