Your job and key responsibilities
We are now looking for an experienced, business-oriented Commercial Development Manager (CDM) who will take the leadership of further developing our Infant Nutrition & Dairy business in the Norwegian market. You will provide strong expertise in shopper understanding, category management, channel management and in-store execution. Important stakeholders include local Key Account Managers, Marketing, Field Sales, Trade Marketing, the Nestlé Norway Country Manager and Nutrition Business Executive Officer (BEO), and you will develop a strong collaboration with especially Marketing, Business Controlling and Demand & Supply Chain. You will report to BEO Nutrition interim while official report Head of CDM Nutrition is on leave. You will be located in Nestlé Norway’s head office in Lysaker, soon to move to Aker Brygge.
You will run the business via strong business planning, strategic category development and proactive stakeholder collaboration with full P&L responsibility. As CDM Manager, one of your key objectives is to accelerate profitable growth through excellence in the commercial execution of the Nordic brand plans and by developing category growth initiatives with our key channels & customers.
Your profile and the courage to be you
We are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in demanding business and sales development positions. It is crucial that you have a strong understanding of complex category dynamics and principles. In addition, insight into marketing and/or brand management is beneficial. Furthermore, you hold a business degree.
The job requires strong analytical skills and commercial flair. You feel passionate about investigating and analyzing new business and channel opportunities and turning them into action. You enjoy and drive fluent co-operation with customers as well as internal stakeholders. By being accustomed to convincing others, you have gained strong communication skills. You master English, both written and verbal.
You hold a results-focused and persistent yet open-minded attitude with a strong positive drive. You are solution-oriented by nature and seek for innovative ways to add value to your customers and our infant nutrition business.
