Your Job:

In this exciting role, you`ll be creating and implementing sales-promoting solutions to help our customers in the grocery sector grow. Additionally, you will bring shopper-relevant marketing initiatives to life in-store, aligning with customer needs. You`ll also support our commercial team in managing customer relationships and lead sustainability-related initiatives from a Commercial Excellence perspective. You will be based in our new office in Aker Brygge, and you will be reporting to our Head of Commercial Excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shopper Activation tasks:
    • Work with our Norwegian and Nordic teams to implement category and chain strategies in the Norwegian grocery market
    • Create customer-specific campaigns and sales materials, and coordinate with local agencies for production
    • Serve as a connector between the sales and marketing departments to ensure consistent shopper messaging and practical execution of strategic plans
    • Analyze and improve store displays and campaign activities to attract and convert more shoppers
    • Partner with Brand and Sales Teams to source actionable shopper marketing and activation insights, and manage communication up to and at the point of purchase
    • Optimize activation investment choices to reduce waste and improve ROI
    • Handle administrative tasks such as creating Purchase Orders
    • Master and strategically drive the Growth Equation (Penetration x Frequency x Weight)
  • Commercial Support tasks:
    • Support the commercial team in maintaining and managing customer relationships
    • Update and maintain information on list prices, listings, campaigns, agreements, and invoices
    • Act as the contact person for our CRM system (Visual Fabriq)
  • Sustainability Champion:
    • Drive sustainability-related initiatives from a Commercial Excellence perspective

We Are Looking For someone who:

  • Holds a relevant academic background that supports work within economics, marketing and sales or similar
  • Has 1-3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in an international company
  • Has project management skills and strong coordination skills
  • Is proficient in Windows-based systems, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP is a plus
  • Is fluent in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken
