Role: Cluster Marketing Manager – Levant for Coffee, Confectionary, Food
POSITION SUMMARY

In this role, you will shape outstanding consumer strategies for the cluster, turning global brand visions into powerful local engagement. You will orchestrate the activation of the MENA strategy, developing best-in-class content, deploying innovation, and delivering high-impact consumer and shopper experiences with flawless execution. We are looking for a dynamic leader to help drive the expansion of our Coffee, Confectionery, and Food portfolio across the Levant region – focusing specifically on Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.
We are seeking someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong strategic thinking, and a commercial mindset with a strong passion for understanding consumers. You will identify and pursue the biggest growth opportunities in these categories, ensuring every investment drives maximum value and brand impact.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
- Provide in-depth inputs to: Category MBS, overall portfolio strategy, pricing strategy and MENA category Ideation & pipeline, representing his/her respective cluster, helping to identify confirmed and emerging opportunities and trends and prioritization for the cluster. Shape & drive cluster-based Strategies as an output, by Country, translating overall MBS into localized context.
- Shape & drive the right portfolio for the cluster in alignment with the Center team, to cater to local needs (from a ‘repertoire’ built at MENA level) Driving Portfolio strategy implementation in the cluster: following the role of each brand/segment by country, to allocate the needed resources & plans to achieve the set targets.
- Activate pricing strategy by brand (following the overall guidance provided by HO…) by OPC: leading the Price/Pack implementation (everyday price vs promo price, price cliffs…), in coordination with CIMI (i.e. robust price elasticity), and CDTs.
- Manage the development and execution of strong and functionally aligned brands and plans which contribute to the MBS implementation, based on the Annual MENA Brand Guidance. Accountable for brand performance and brand health tracking. (i.e. Brand Plans by Country): the plan follows the overall guidance but should be clearly articulating the activations and any local initiatives, highlighting gaps in support needed.
- Actively participate to the Monthly review with HO: inform and update the HO on the brand health status for the respective cluster (i.e.: HHP, frequency, BHT), with results, learnings and action plans. Elevates the forum by sharing proud moments and learning (as Cluster best practices ….) that can be rolled out in other clusters.
- Connect with eBusiness teams to reinforce branding and key content development, with localized CEF when relevant and tracking the relevant digital/eBusiness KPIs (incl. internal and industry benchmarking) to ensure achievement of targets.
- Acts as the voice of the consumer and shopper, leads the gap analysis at portfolio level to identify the trends, competitive analysis and inputs to the overall MENA I&R strategy – main forums are the innovation bootcamps and MBS / ICP reviews.
What will make you successful…
- Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in marketing, which may include some years in other function ideally in CDT/ Sales at Nestlé or equivalent FMCG – should have worked in marketing for at least 3 to 4 years.
- Proven track record in Core Brand Building, helping brands innovate, ideally a mix of Regional/Global brands and local brands, identifying new growth opportunities...
- Solid experience in new product/brand launches or renovations. Experience in working and engaging with cross-functional teams: Supply Chain, CDT and Sales.
- Strong understanding of market research and insight and ability to leverage into brand development and/or activation strategies.
- Strong Market experience in 1 or several categories allowing flexibility and fast adaptation to a new category.
- Strong relationship management and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing.
- Proven track record in delivering strategic digital marketing projects.
- Due to stringent visa requirements and restations, we ideally need a Lebanese national.
- Please note that there will be frequent travel in this role to the key countries.
