A day in the life...

The Content Syndication Specialist will support Nestle’s Project Force and Channel Engine strategic business plan and “must-win” focus on E-Commerce growth. The primary objectives for this role is to manage Digital Commerce product content and share this content in a scalable way with retailers and distributors. To accomplish these objectives, you’ll help organize content in a logical, scalable structure that meets the needs of multiple retailer and distributor platforms. You will demonstrate skill in project management and prioritization, justify decisions based on data, and measure results through analytical acumen. Finally, you will demonstrate full understanding of the Omni-Channel E2E solution and operating model.
 
This role requires a strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of best practices for the management of content data. Professional experience is required and previous experience working with Content Management Systems, similar to Salsify, PDH and Order Management Systems like Channel Engine with large data sets is preferred. The person in this role will need to be comfortable working both as part of a team and autonomously, effective with juggling various projects simultaneously, and solution oriented in their working style.
 
Content Management:
• Engage market teams to ensure content is published accurately to marketplaces
• Serve as primary contact for Digital Commerce content publication related issues for market teams
• Communicate and ensure best in class content publication & syndication standards are planned for and achieved
• Manage the creation and validation of new and existing product information from source systems
• Support large content modification projects such as brand change or category update
• Investigate content discrepancies
 
Marketplace Creation and Set-up and Maintenance:
• Validate marketplace template and attribute requirements
• Set-up new marketplaces in the system and map required attributes
• Manage existing marketplaces and ensure all product listing are maintained, publish, updated or deleted
 
Product Selection and Price Listing:
• Align with markets the correct products to be listed the marketplace
• List products as aligned with the market and marketplace
• Manage changes of codes in the current product listing
• Manage and list prices for new and existing products. Change and update when needed to ensure no financial loss will occur
 
Promotions and Product Bundles:
• Align with markets the correct products to be listed the marketplace
• Monitor all promotions and ensure correct start date and end date including time
• Manage any changes in the promotion (price, date, time, codes)
• Delist promotions and bundles as needed
 
Stock Management and Reporting:
• Manage stock in current OMS tool and ensure that it is aligned with expected number of available products for sale
• Report any discrepancies, including low to zero stocks
 
Content Auditing and Other Tasks:
• Verify sent content has been loaded correctly
• Assist marketing and sales with Product Assortment and Content questions
 
Reporting and Insighting:
• Provide actionable insights based on the current data, issues and findings
• Create sales reports, promotions reports, stock reports, content availability and other reports as required. Provide insights and recommendations that can be used by the markets in their next campaigns, product listings, etc
 
Technology & Systems:
• System lead for 3rd party publication
• Understand and execute navigation of key customer portals for product content setup
• Be comfortable in working through order management systems and content syndication platforms like Channel Engine, Salsify, PDH
• Data mapping may be required to link content to products for the purpose of publication
