The Full Stack Developer (Cloud) supports Nestlé’s global brand and corporate websites by developing, optimizing, and maintaining cloud‑native applications, microservices, APIs, and cloud infrastructures. The role ensures high performance, security, scalability, and best‑practice implementation across multiple cloud platforms. It also plays a key part in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), troubleshooting, documentation, training, and stakeholder support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance cloud‑native applications, microservices, and webpages.
- Configure, monitor, and maintain AWS, Azure, or GCP environments to ensure performance and high availability.
- Build custom REST APIs and third‑party integrations to support business requirements.
- Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Design, implement, and optimize cloud databases (DynamoDB, CosmosDB, Cloud SQL, MongoDB).
- Troubleshoot complex cloud/application issues and support stakeholders.
- Advocate and apply cloud development and back‑end best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, ensure compliance with security standards, and maintain repository hygiene using Git.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud performance using logs and monitoring tools.
- Execute website/back‑end optimization tasks, ensuring First‑Time‑Right delivery.
- Coordinate with external tech agencies to remove blockers and maintain production flow.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture, APIs, IaC, and SOPs.
- Provide training, presentations, and support to internal and external partners.
- Mentor junior and mid‑level developers and support continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, IT, or related fields.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud‑native languages: Python, Go, Java.
- Expertise in IaC frameworks: Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi.
- Strong mastery of REST principles, HTTP methods, containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Experience with serverless (Lambda, Cloud Run, Azure Functions).
- Proficiency in cloud database services (DynamoDB, Cosmos DB, Cloud SQL).
- Strong Git and version control workflow experience.
- Excellent English communication skills (written/verbal).
- Familiarity with Agile (Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and planning skills; ability to work independently or in teams.
