A DAY IN THE LIFE …
The Service Expansion Specialist supports the operational business in improving customer experience and enhancing market satisfaction through project and portfolio management, transition and service expansion management, and benefits tracking and value contribution strategies. The role helps discover potential opportunities for center expansion and performs project solutioning and implementation following the Service Expansion Methodology.
- Drive the execution of the Service Expansion Framework from Discovery through Roll-out and Replication.
- Perform initial kick-off meetings and discussions with markets to identify and scope opportunities for service expansion.
- Review current processes, conduct data gathering activities, and define scope, volume, and estimated effort requirements.
- Develop business cases and change requests, and manage approvals from NBS and Market stakeholders.
- Lead end-to-end transition project management activities, including market design, knowledge transfer, ramp-up, go-live assessments, and communication planning.
- Execute go-live and hypercare activities, monitor one-time and ongoing service costs, complete hypercare exit requirements, and ensure proper project documentation and archiving.
- Provide expertise and capacity to support Market Account Leads and Operations teams throughout all stages of the service expansion lifecycle.
- Ensure complete and consistent management of expansion pipelines and project portfolios, including resource prioritization and governance compliance.
- Conduct benefits tracking and consolidation across NBS initiatives, ensuring adherence to global value definitions, standards, and practices.
- Provide reporting and insights to support timely and effective management decision-making.
- Drive transition and service launch activities by ensuring critical preparation tasks such as Business Impact Assessments, Business Continuity Planning, Controls, Change Management, Stakeholder Management, and Communications are completed on time and with quality.
- Establish and maintain robust project governance with End-to-End teams, facilitate governance forums, and identify opportunities for cross-center replication.
- Partner with HR, Finance & Control, and IT teams to address resource requirements, solution availability, and project dependencies.
- Utilize continuous improvement methodologies, perform process mapping, and identify opportunities related to analytics, automation, and emerging services.
- Assess opportunities to replicate successful expansion projects across markets and functions and develop success stories and service catalog updates to support future business development initiatives.
