JOB DESCRIPTION

• Design, create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and test suites using appropriate relevant and innovative quality assurance techniques within respective project team as well as supporting other teams.
• Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and identify testing needs.
• Estimate QA efforts, and guide the team in the development of a testing strategy.
• Prioritize the QA activities and support the team members with testing and project prioritization.
• Ensure creation and/or team compliance with existing Market/Brand QA processes.
• Proficiently use QA & testing tools as a complex toolset. Being able to setup and configure from scratch.
• Report on assigned projects/tasks to the QA Lead.
• Provide hands on testing support during QA phase and production validation. Monitor and report project quality level to the respective project team, QA Coordinator and LM.
• Guide and teach the project team as well as cross-functional teams in quality aspects.
• Proactively identify risks with the testing. Perform root cause analysis of defects and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Identify and recommend any opportunity of implementing Automation to increase efficiency of testing.
• Provide suggestions or alternate point of view in case of incompatible formats or unachievable timelines.
• Participate in scheduled meetings with the Project team to review progress, and discuss issues when required.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA specialists, sharing knowledge and best practices.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL TO THIS ROLE...

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Upper-intermediate level of English.
• Strong knowledge of STLC and SDLC.
• ISTQB knowledge is required. Certification or equivalent is a plus.
• 5+ Years of experience as a QA engineer or other relevant role.
• Data analysis and statistical skills.
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (preferably Drupal) and web solutions.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS.
• Have a diverse tech stack to support the QA process. Ability to independently setup, configure and provide knowledge transfer.
• Experience with ticketing/project management tools.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experienced working in Agile teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products/solutions.
• Defining continuous improvement in daily activities.

• Meeting deliverable requirements, service level agreements and specific targets.
