Position Summary


The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of Purina.ca, including content updates within Drupal and the coordination of third party tools to ensure accurate, consumer ready information. They will support the development and execution of Purina’s eCRM initiatives and the launch of the loyalty program, while assisting the Senior Manager with media campaigns that grow Purina Canada’s first party data. The role also oversees social media strategy and execution and is responsible for managing budgets and purchase orders that enable the effective delivery of all programs. Note: this position is an existing vacancy.


A day in the life of an AMM (CRM& Masterbrand):


•    Champions the accuracy and integrity of product information across the Purina.ca eco system, and assist with ongoing site enhancements:
o    Collaborates with brand teams to continue to evolve the consumer experience (CX) on brand hubs to meet brand objectives and drive online sales conversions.
o    Maintains accuracy of all product pages leveraging product data from Kwikee and Salsify, including product images, product information, feeding guidelines. 
o    Updates Bazaarvoice ratings and reviews (syndication, product matching), and PriceSpider retail availability.
o    Ensures all SEO best practices are followed, including metadata, keyword optimization, and tagging, and optimizing for LLMs ( Large language models) or advanced AI systems.
o    Identifies SEO content gaps on purina.ca and work with external parties to drive organic traffic and site engagement

 

●    Maintains the integrity and stability of the Canadian Content Management System (Drupal) environment
o    Participates in cross-functional team meetings to understand the evolving digital ecosystem, technologies &represent the market-specific needs for Canada.

 

●    Strengthens and maintains Nestle Purina’s leadership position in pet health and nutrition through digital, eCRM & loyalty, and social media channels
o    Assists in the development and management of an annual content & social calendar for Purina Masterbrand
o    Briefs and manages agency partners in the creation and translation of website editorial content, routing through regulatory approvals as needed, and publishing the content to Purina.ca using our CMS tool (Drupal), ensuring both SEO best practices and CX are thoroughly considered.
o    Partners with brand teams and agency partners to build best in class eCRM experiences for consumers that meet overarching brand objectives.
o    Develops email content & assist in managing eCRM agency partner through all phases of email development, testing, and deployment to ensure flawless execution of month brand and editorial emails.
o    Assists in developing organic social content and scheduling posts on Purina social media channels using Sprinklr.

 

●    Drives brand consideration, retailer site visits, and sales revenue through management of Wayvia Where to Buy technologies, including:
o    Manages the accuracy of the product and seller feeds, updating as needed to meet brand needs.
o    Proactively identifies discrepancies between the product, seller feeds, widgets as well as managing the agency support team to resolve errors efficiently.
o    Assists in managing the PriceSpider agency relationship & identifying new use cases to support the brand and e-commerce teams in driving organizational sales.

 

●    Assists Senior Manager, CRM & Digital technology in adhoc special projects related to CRM, First Party Data, website development, analytics, campaign planning, and social media, etc. 
●    Updates status documents on project progress & clearly communicate progress to internal stakeholders. 
●    Creates purchase orders on SAP, manages budgets, and coordinates with agency vendors for invoice payment.

As the successful candidate you will be a resourceful self-starter who loves a challenge and can balance multiple digital projects and tasks with competing deadlines.  You are data driven. You will already have great project management and analytical skills coupled with your highly organised, conscientious approach. Pro-activity, tenacity and enthusiasm are essential, as will be your ability to keep up with evolving technologies and tools in the digital marketing space.

 

You will also have:


•    Completed a college or University program with a focus in digital marketing, communications, business and/or technology.
•    Experience working with Content Management Systems mandatory, ideally Drupal.
•    Experience with any of the following technologies strongly preferred: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Power BI, Kwikee, Salsify, Wayvia (PriceSpider), and/or Bazaarvoice.
•    Knowledge and understanding of UX and SEO best practices.
•    Knowledge of CRM & loyalty best practices considered an asset.
•    Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally with internal teams and external agency partners.
•    Excellent Project management skills and ability to follow through to completion with excellence.
•    Passion to build and grow digital channels, with ‘can-do’ attitude
•    Proficiency in computer literacy is a must: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other MS applications.
