Position Snapshot

Location: Montreal, QC located at 300 Léo-Pariseau, suite 2300 Montréal, QC Canada H2X 4B3; Hybrid 

 

What to Expect: 
You will support the Acquisition strategy & machines portfolio manager, for both system Original and Vertuo in the development of the marketing strategies in line with the brand’s objectives. 

 

A day in the life:

Acquisition strategy for Nespresso coffee machines 

  • Support the acquisition strategy manager on the acquisition plan for the Canadian market with an omni channel approach. 
  • Work in close collaboration with the brand, trade, ecom, boutique & CRC teams to develop winning and creative value-added business strategies for consumers as well as retailers. 
  • Analyze promotional results and assure efficiency.
  • Manage an optimal machines portfolio, ensuring that product offerings reinforce channel strategy (where possible), and put consumer in the center of communication.
  • Support the manager on the pricing strategy & recommendation for machines based.

 

Product launches & Innovation 

  • Work with Manager on project management (Briefs, workback schedule, tasks and deliverables follow-ups). 
  • Be the lead on special projects such as the development of a seasonal machine promotion, machine subscription, member get member program and all other programs that accelerate acquisition.
  • Ensure project deadlines are met and follow up with sales channels, agencies, and other partners.
  • Be part of the packaging approval process.

 

Budget Management:  

  • Budget accuracy follow-ups 
  • Maintain PO’s process, product creation and invoicing.

 

Role Requirements

  • Bilingualism in English and French language skills are a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market and/or worldwide.
  • Business degree in marketing or management.
  • Min. 2 years experiences in marketing with proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role in fast moving consumer.
  • Expertise with Microsoft environment particularly PowerPoint & Excel.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including promotions, traditional and digital marketing) and market research methods.

 

Preferred Skills 

  • Competencies in product portfolio management and project management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools. 
  • Well-organized, strong time and priority management skills.  
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.  
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind. 
  • Ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with a team.
