What to Expect: 

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to work at Nespresso, in Montreal, reporting into the Product Manager, B2C promotional activations. This role will support the Product Management team in the development of the marketing strategy in line with the brand and business’s objectives. This position is an existing vacancy. As a Marketing Specialist you will have a great opportunity to contribute to the business development and sales objectives, focusing on but not-limited-to, three areas of responsibility: B2C promotional plan development, communication plans and budget management.  You will be working daily with cross-functional teams to accomplish your projects, with lots of autonomy and coaching to really thrive.

 

 

A day in the life:

B2C Coffee promotional plan development :

  • Lead the implementation of the B2C coffee promotional plan with an OMNI channel approach working in partnership with all cross-functional teams (E-Commerce, Retail, Brand, CRC, CRM, Supply Chain, Finance, IT…)
  • Conduct analysis of promotional activations, including daily sales tracking, and building recommendations to support promotional plan development ; from promotional mechanics definition, targeting, presentation to channels for alignment and validation of business cases
  • Contribute to plan and build gift-with-purchase forecasting with recommendations & alignment with cross-functional teams
  • Plan and ensure gift-with-purchase stocks management and forecast accuracy in collaboration with Supply Chain and channels, provide recommendations on stock depletion activations aligned with all cross-functional teams

Communication plans Development :

  • Build and implement integrated impactful communication plans aligned with brand strategy and business goals collaborating closely with channels (E-commerce, Retail) to support sales objectives and generate high conversion rate
  • Provide proactive recommendations to optimize communication plans and reinforcements plans when necessary to drive significant business impact
  • Lead the development and implementation of creative assets with agencies along with channels to ensure consistent campaigns integrated to Brand Experiences and leveraging cross-sell opportunities in order to provide a full; 360 customer experience (coffee, accessories, machines, etc)
  • Continuously propose innovative ideas by analyzing market trends and luxury-goods competitive benchmarks to establish best practises and elevate the 360 customer experience aligned with our brand positioning

Budget Management :

  • Contribute to budget accuracy (purchase order process, product creation and invoicing follow-ups)

 

Role Requirements

  • Strong business acumen : solution-oriented, results-driven, and focused on delivering business impact.
  • Strong proven project management skills: well-structured/organized, time & priority management, multi-tasking skills, agility and autonomy, accountability
  • Interpersonal & Communication Skills: excellent oral and written communication; collaborative mindset and ability to build strong relationships.
  • Creativity & Brand insights : deep understanding of brand positioning and affinity with the brand; curiosity-driven with a passion for competitive benchmarking and identifying best practices in the luxury sector.
  • Direct-to-Consumer Communication Knowledge: email, push notifications, SMS, POSM, and direct mail campaigns
  • Analytical & strategic thinking: strong analytical skills combined with a holistic, 360° business perspective.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ability to cope under pressure

 

Preferred Skills

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing with proven experience in marketing or similar role in fast moving consumer or luxury goods
  • Bilingual French and English (written and spoken)
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint & Excel)
