POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr Specialist Business Optimization drives the implementation of B2B (Business to Business) programs and projects, both locally and from HQ, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role manages multiple projects by establishing clear deadlines and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders, leveraging expertise across all business processes. Additionally, the position supports Sales and CRC ( Customer Relationship Center) teams in continuous improvement initiatives and oversees all B2B compliance projects and audits, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and compliance within the organization.
This hybrid opportunity offers the best of both worlds. With 2 days per week based at Nespresso USA's NYC Manhattan Herald Square office, you will have the chance to collaborate with colleagues, build strong relationships, and engage in face-to-face interactions. The remaining days, you will have the flexibility to work remotely, allowing you to maximize your productivity and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and implement projects
- Define and align project scope, goals, and deliverables with key stakeholders
- Create project plans
- Define tasks and required resources
- Collect and manage project team
- Manage budget and allocate project resources
- Create project schedule and define key milestones
Execute, report progress and evaluate the results
- Manage project plans
- Track deliverables (dashboard development & maintenance)
- Lead quality assurance and identify and resolve issues
- Monitor and provide all necessary reporting on project progress (including risk management & tracking)
- Strategic influencing and presenting to stakeholders
- Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
- Evaluate and assess results of project and manage/provide all documentation needed
Identification and resolution of organizational pain points and performance/efficiency gaps
- Continuous improvement of our ways of working (wow)
- Reviews with other functions (e.g., Sales, CoE, TQM, SC) to identify pain points and inefficiencies
- Sets up objectives, key milestones and the timeline to resolve the identified organizational pain points
- Building project plans including key milestones, timeline and deliverables for the owned tasks
- Drives the execution and roll-out of the aligned improvements
- Measures the progress and success of the roll-out of tasks and initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ Years experience in sales operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Project Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, SharePoint) with strong presentation-building skills)
- 2 years of project management experience, with a preference for familiarity with SAP, Cognos, or Oracle
- Strong project management skills (planning, coordination & proactive anticipation of key milestones, next steps & challenges)
- Project Management certification a plus
SKILLS:
- Collaborative team player and influencer with cross-funcitional skills
- Experience with managing multiple projects across functions
- Demonstrates strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Shows initiative, works autonomously, and demonstrates courage in decision making
The approximate pay range for this position is $105,000- $120,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
