Position Summary
We are looking for a Marketing Manager, Starbucks at Home Coffee based at our North York Office reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, Starbucks at Home. This role will lead the strategic roadmap for a range of the Starbucks at Home Coffee portfolio and is a fantastic opportunity to help plan, develop and execute marketing plans that strengthen, evolve, and grow the Starbucks brand. Note: this is a new brand role
A day in the life of a Marketing Manager
As a Marketing Manager, you will be working on projects across the Starbucks at Home Coffee portfolio. This role is a great opportunity to lead brand strategy and execution to bring growth to the category. You will be working daily with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams locally and globally, with lots of autonomy and support to thrive.
You will also:
• Leverage brand, consumer and business data to build the brand strategy & activities that support Starbucks at Home Coffee over both the short- and long-term horizon.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with local and global stakeholders, in and out of the organization, and local cross functional teams especially sales, demand & supply, and finance.
• Leverage key consumer/customer insights to develop strategies that build competitive advantage across the 4Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) across multiple segments and channels.
• Responsible for developing a 3-5 year I&R plan in Canada in line with Global strategy (where applicable), assessing the business and consumer needs locally.
• Leverage the strength of the Starbucks brand through translation of insights to action. Responsible for creating and/or adapting compelling communication and effective media strategies.
• Coach & develop an assistant marketing manager, actively communicating expectations, providing regular coaching and development to support their growth.
• Accountable for the P&L, managing internal and external changes impacting plans and budget within a specific range of the Starbucks at Home Coffee portfolio.

As the successful candidate, you will be the champion for the brand throughout the organization so you will need to be passionate, results focused and really enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. You will already have great project management and analytical skills coupled with your highly organized, conscientious approach. Pro-activity, tenacity and enthusiasm are essential, as is your ability to understand and work within our competitive market. You’ve already developed marketing experience as a Marketing Assistant or Assistant Brand Manager that will give you the experience you need to drive this great brand forward. You will also require:
• University degree in Business or Marketing, and or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of successful brand/product management experience. CPG experience is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of commercialization process within CPG with ability to leverage Nestlé processes, resources, and environment.
• Strong strategic thinking, creative problem solving and insight with the ability to drive results at the strategic and executional levels.
• Relentless curiosity, self-motivated, results focused with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Agile and able to pivot in a fast paced and matrix environment, comfortable taking calculated risks and doing things differently to carve a new way forward
• Experience navigating through large stakeholder network with focus to move projects forward
• Be passionate to build and grow brands, with ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
• Curiosity & learning mindset around the fast-paced changes in technology and AI to enable new ways of working as a competitive advantage.
