What to Expect:
The Senior Marketing Manager Leads all aspects of developing brand strategies, translating them into Commercial Plans, and liaising with various internal and external partners. This role directly influences business outcomes, ensures continued success and share gain in coffee and juice. The role comes with a significant coaching mandate and is a spokesperson for the team within the broader marketing community.
A day in the life:
- Develop/support category-level strategies and programs across all category drivers and formats rooted in Demand Moments to drive overall growth and executional excellence incl. including but not limited to: Comprehensive business reviews, 3-year strategic plan, 18-month plan, Coordinated commercial plan, Trade asset plans
- Build great brands through translation of insights to action. Accountable for the definition & understanding of the target customers and consumers. Develops (local brands) or applies (global brands) Brand Essence. Ensures team is crafting on-brand communication assets and sales enablement tools both for online and offline touchpoints.
- Lead in-depth analysis of Foodservice trends, share insights with teams, and develop category strategies.
- Lead and mentor 4 direct reports, actively communicating expectations and providing regular feedback. Work with each team member to build appropriate development plans, succession plans and ensure that the training activities achieve agreed upon objective.
- Be the primary contact for Zone, SBU, and Global Coffee Alliance partners, encouraging strong operational relationships and ensuring alignment on business reviews and central initiatives.
- Drive strategic inputs for 3-year Innovation & Renovation plans encompassing products & equipment platforms across the portfolio. Tasked with prioritizing initiatives and resources based on market attractiveness, willingness to pay, ability to win etc. and ensuring accurate execution by the marketing team.
- Responsible for developing the team for Product Fixed Marketing Expenses deployment, enhancing Return on Investment.
Role Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience in CPG or Food categories, with experience in complex portfolio management and minimum 3 years of people management
- University degree in Business or Marketing (MBA or equivalent experience preferred)
- Displayed critical thinking, business insight, and capability to navigate complexity and ambiguity while handling various priorities
- Track record of delivering growth results within challenging and volatile environments
Preferred Skills
- Proven leadership and coaching skills, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams of more than 3 members
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data and develop actionable strategies
- Excellent communication, storytelling and stakeholder management abilities
