POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager, Digital Shelf is responsible for setting the strategy and building the capabilities of the Digital Shelf function within eCommerce that will deliver a seamless, customer-centric digital shopping experience that drives engagement, conversion, and sales. The Senior Manager will lead and develop a team to support eCommerce growth goals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital shelf excellence, including but not limited to eRetailer content performance and syndication, product attribute accuracy, digital tools, measurement and reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute full-scale digital shelf strategies to enhance online presence and drive revenue growth across all eRetailers.
- Build and develop a high-performing team to support the digital shelf strategy and eCommerce growth goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop best processes for ways of working across a matrixed organization; ensure alignment and execution of digital shelf initiatives.
- Lead and partner on the development and implementation of new tools, technologies, and partnerships for digital shelf tools, agencies.
- Oversee the accuracy and performance of consumer-facing eContent and backend product information.
- Measure and report on digital shelf performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Build education decks to educate internal stakeholders and leadership on the importance and needs of digital shelf.
- Perform other duties as required.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 3 years’ experience in an eCommerce and digital shelf position, partnering with agencies and retail partners.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a CPG environment.
- Must have experience leading or managing a team either indirectly or directly.
- Vitamins, Minerals, Herbals, Supplements eCommerce experience preferred.
- Must have worked with Syndigo, Salsify, or similar eCommerce tools.
- Experience in collaborating with brands and agencies to gain a deep understanding of their brand needs and effectively represent their products on digital platforms.
- Proven experience influencing stakeholders to deploy newest best practices in eCommerce.
- Experience with project management including project planning and management in a complex, fast-moving environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, shift priorities as required, and ultimately meet deadlines.
- Dynamic leader who can push past obstacles, overcome objections, and build advocacy with internal stakeholders.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; articulate communicator who can quickly synthesize data.
- Ability to multi-task and determine key priorities in a fast-paced environment and exhibit follow-through.
- Problem solver with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, etc.).
This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, NJ, Chicago, IL, Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Long Island, NY.
The approximate pay range for this position is $125,000 to $165,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
