An opportunity exists for an analytical and enthusiastic Assistant Brand Manager with strong organisational abilities to step into the unique Pet Care Category for a 12 month contract. 

 

Providing excellent grounding for an entry level marketer, this unique role offers exposure to end to end brand management, a variety of digital marketing activities, and a diverse range of marketing channels. You will have the opportunity to support the Marketing team with the current and future direction of our key brands.
 
You will be involved in NPD & brand building projects, strategy projects, monitoring performance (such as sales, market share figures and competitive reviews) and the management of budgets.

 

A day in the Life…

 

  • Support with the development of brand strategy & activation plans 
  • Support implementation of innovation & renovation projects, including development of ‘best in class’ launches & promotional activations
  • Monitor and analyse brand performance metrics including sales volumes, market share trends and competitor activity
  • Assist with the development of communication strategies
  • Build strong working relationship with internal stakeholders, including commercial, agency partners and global marketing contacts
  • Management and champion of brand assets including image library, digital and global marketing 
  • Manage administration, purchase orders, budget management and audit requirements ensuring compliance to all company policies and principles. 

 

What will make you successful: 

 

 

  • You will be degree qualified (Commerce / Business / Marketing) and ideally have had exposure within FMCG Sales and / or Marketing with at least 2 years work experience
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams desired 
  • Excellent communication and strong project management skills are essential, and a level of digital experience will be highly regarded
  • A self starter who can display initiative and, if hits a problem, figures out who to engage to get it sorted
  • Ultimately, it will be your innovative approach and ability to work collaboratively on multiple projects that will see you succeed in the role
