A full time, permanent opportunity currently exists for an Assistant Brand Manager to join our Nestlé Professional Beverages team. This team focuses on B2B opportunities for Beverages portfolio which includes globally recognised brands - Nescafe, Milo and Starbucks. You will manage the development, field communication and execution of channel and customer specific promotional activations for the assigned portfolio. The team operates across AU and NZ and whilst the role reports into the Head of Beverages based in Australia, the successful candidate will build great relationships with the Nestlé Professional team based in New Zealand. 

 

A day in the Life… 

 

  • Collaborate with the Beverages team to adapt and execute campaigns for the New Zealand market.
  • Support the implementation of innovation and renovation projects.
  • In conjunction with the Beverages team and the Beverages category lead, develop the sales tools required to deliver the commercial plan, such as trade presenters, trade samples, presentation kits, and point-of-sale materials.
  • Assist the sales team in fulfilling bespoke customer requests.
  • Incorporate trade standards for best-in-class field and digital execution.
  • Manage all administration tasks, including purchase orders, budget management, and audit requirements, ensuring compliance with all company policies and principles. 

 

What will make you successful:  

 

  • You will possess a degree in Commerce, Business, or Marketing and ideally have experience in FMCG Sales and/or Marketing, with at least two years of work experience.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams is desired.
  • Excellent communication and strong project management skills are essential, and a certain level of digital experience will be highly regarded.
  • You will be a self-starter who can demonstrate initiative and, when faced with a problem, knows how to engage the right people to resolve it.
  • Ultimately, your innovative approach and ability to collaborate on multiple projects will contribute to your success in this role.
