As a Category Development Analyst in our Purina Baltics team, you’ll turn complex data into clear insights that shape category growth and support winning commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:  

 

  • Analysing Distribution, Placement and Pricing data of the Category to deliver insights and recommendations for Sales to ensure Purina portfolio competitiveness across the channels and customers.  

  • Supporting Key Account Managers with data, analysing, insights, and recommendations in preparation for Category assortment reviews.  

  • Evaluating the effectiveness of trade activities through pre and post-evaluations, overviewing insights and making recommendations. 

  • Preparing merchandising guidelines.  

  • Participating in preparation and implementation of Category development projects with Key customers 

  • Participating in Customer meetings with Sales to present Category insights and development activities. 

  • Collaborate closely with local cross functional team (Sales, Category Management, Marketing, Business Controlling, Demand Planning etc.). 

 

Requirements:  

 

  • Strong analytical skills to gather valuable insights and draw meaningful and actionable conclusions from them.  

  • Advanced proficiency in excel and proven experience working with big data sets. 

  • Practical experience working with e-commerce. 

  • Great planning skills and task prioritization. 

  • Effective communication skills and ability to clearly present insights to internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Initiative-taking team-player with fast learning abilities. 

  • You are proficient in both written and spoken English language. 

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in FMCG (Sales, trade, marketing, finance, or other retail experience would be considered an advantage).
