We are looking for a Category Development Manager that will:

  • Lead the channel thinking of the commercial team, taking responsibility for developing and implementing channel strategies with a horizon of 12-36 months
  • Support Marketing in developing category strategies with a horizon of 12-36 months
  • Develop the Point of Purchase strategies and standards for each Channel Category, incorporating the four POP Drivers
  • Shopper Ownership through route to market
  • To ensure compliance/ provide support to all quality related activities identified in the NQMS Process Descriptions and Support Process Descriptions
  • The employee of this position is required to carry out his/ her duty according to the National Code of Ethics on the Sale of Infant Foods in Singapore (SIFECS), the Nestle Instructions on the WHO International Code on the Marketing of Breast Milk Substitutes and communication guidelines.
  • To ensure compliance /provide support to all OHS related activities identified in OHSAS manual Clause 4.4.1

  • Strategy Infrastructure
  • Annual Strategic Planning -  Integrated Commercial Planning for Channel/Customer delivering rolling 18-month commercial plans 
  • Cycle Activity Planning & Implementation -  Develop Customer Cycle Activity and Budget Plan 
  • Monitor & review results

 

What Will Make You Successful...

  • Category product Knowledge (+ Category analysis)
  • 5+ years business managerial experience within trade marketing, marketing/sales or commercial functions. Preferably with Trade Marketing/CCSD experience.
  • Demonstrated business planning & implementation skills (Project Management)
  • Communication & Presentation Skills
  • Financial implication and awareness (P&L statement, supply chain reports etc)
  • TTS management
  • Category development
  • Promotion Management
  • POP development
  • Space management
  • Shopper Research
  • Training : CMBP, FMBP, Spaceman, Foundation of Strategic Category Marketing, Shopper Insights, TTS Strategy
