Position: Category Manager (Vitamins, Maternal and Supplements)
Location: Santo Domingo, República Dominicana.
Company: Nestlé - Nutrition
Main Objective
The primary goal is to lead the category agenda to ensure profitable and sustainable growth of VMS across all Caribbean territories. This includes aligning category and brand strategies with ZONE AMS guidelines, developing consumer and healthcare professional insights to drive demand, brand equity, and market share. The role also involves identifying business opportunities and formulating commercial strategies while adhering to the WHO Code, Nestlé policies, and local regulations.
A Day as Category Manager (VSM)
- Category/Brands: Design and implement the MBS strategy and ICP plans, identify market trends, and propose strategies that align with business objectives focusing on consumer and healthcare professional engagement.
- Business Objectives: Achieve short, medium, and long-term business goals for brands/products by optimizing marketing investments across various activities to ensure the best ROI, while complying with financial procedures.
- Marketing Mix: Manage all marketing mix variables, utilize ZONE campaign toolkits for communication, adapt label designs, oversee promotions and distribution channels, and ensure compliance with brand essence and guidelines.
- Market Research: Allocate resources for market research to understand consumer, shopper, and healthcare professional needs, preferences, and brand perceptions to enhance loyalty and preference.
- Collaboration: Work with trade marketing and sales teams to create effective pricing, distribution strategies, and promotional materials to boost visibility and sales, achieving market share and other goals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with regulatory affairs to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and labeling requirements for VMS products.
What makes you successful…
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field or a professional duly trained in nutrition, dietetics, food engineering, healthcare sciences and experience in marketing. MBA preferred.
- 5 years + of proven experience in marketing and commercial area,
- Minimum basic knowledge in digital marketing, social media platforms, and analytics tools.
- Project management skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- 25% travel availability
