The Senior Manager, Digital Shelf, Amazon is responsible for defining strategy and driving execution of Nestlé's Digital Shelf across Amazon globally, ensuring best-in-class performance in product discoverability, content effectiveness, and shopper conversion across all Nestlé categories and markets. This role owns the end-to-end digital shelf ecosystem, including content, search, data, tools, and capabilities, integrating strategic leadership with hands-on execution excellence to drive improved discoverability, conversion, and sales performance. The Senior Manager partners cross-functionally with Brand, Sales, Content, and Analytics teams to embed digital shelf excellence into the organization and scale measurable business impact globally.
This role will be based in Arlington VA or Seattle WA
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Shelf Strategy & Governance

Define and execute a global Amazon Digital Shelf strategy, including standards for content, search, taxonomy, and conversion.

Establish and embed global KPIs and scorecards (e.g., share of search, CVR, CTR, content compliance) and enforce global governance and execution standards across markets.

Own performance measurement and reporting, including dashboards and business reviews, translating insights into actionable recommendations tied to business impact.
Content, Data & Conversion Excellence
-
Own end-to-end content strategy and execution across product titles, bullets, descriptions (SEO and conversion-driven), imagery, A+ content, and brand storytelling modules.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of backend product data, attributes, and taxonomy to support discoverability and compliance.

Lead content syndication strategy and processes for efficient, scalable deployment and drive conversion optimization across the full funnel (traffic to PDP to purchase).
Search & Discoverability Leadership

Define and execute Amazon SEO strategy, including keyword optimization aligned to shopper intent, indexing, and ranking techniques.

Incorporate emerging trends in AI-driven discovery and translate search insights into actionable content and optimization priorities.

Develop Nestlé's Amazon Digital Shelf roadmap for AI-enabled commerce, including Alexa+, conversational shopping, agentic purchasing agents, and emerging machine-driven discovery models, translating evolving platform capabilities into competitive advantage for Nestlé brands.
Execution, Audits & Experimentation

Lead digital shelf audits to identify content gaps, inconsistencies, and conversion blockers, and implement QA frameworks and content validation processes across SKUs and categories.

Establish and lead a structured test-and-learn program (A/B testing of titles, images, and A+ content) with measurement frameworks tying content improvements to conversion outcomes.

Identify, validate, and scale high-impact interventions globally.
Digital Merchandising, Tools & Ecosystem Ownership

Own the digital shelf technology stack, including tools, analytics platforms, and data solutions.

Lead development and rollout of automated digital merchandising capabilities at scale.

Manage external agencies and partners supporting content, SEO, and optimization.
Capability Building & Operating Model

Develop and deploy global digital shelf playbooks, workflows, and methodologies, and build scalable content creation, approval, and deployment processes.

Own the cross-functional operating model across Sales, Marketing, Content, and Analytics.

Lead training and workshops to upskill teams and drive adoption globally.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

Build and lead a high-performing Digital Shelf team (direct and matrix), defining roles, priorities, and ways of working to ensure clear accountability and scalability.

Act as the global subject matter expert for Amazon Digital Shelf, partnering with Brand, Category, Sales, and Analytics teams to align priorities.

Influence decision-making through data-driven storytelling and educate leadership on digital shelf impact and best practices.
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
-
8 to 10+ years of experience in eCommerce, Digital Shelf, or Digital Marketing Strategy.

Deep expertise in the Amazon ecosystem (search, content, conversion drivers).

Strong understanding of shopper behavior, SEO, and conversion principles.

Experience with digital analytics tools and performance measurement.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments.

The approximate pay range for this position is $190,000 to $205,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
