Position Summary

As the Manager, Brand Marketing Combined Consumer & Product Experience (CX/PX), you will lead the comprehensive brand experience across communications, product, and commercial touchpoints. This role architects how the brand is experienced through both first and second moments of truth by integrating consumer experience, product experience, innovation, launches, packaging, claims, media, digital, and commercial activation.  This role owns the coordination, execution, and delivery of key initiatives that bring the brand strategy to life and create meaningful consumer communications and experiences across the funnel.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Consumer, Category, & Customer (3C) Understanding

  • Lead the translation of consumer, category, customer, and competitive insights into integrated brand and product strategies that inform innovation, communications, activation, and portfolio priorities.
  • Synthesize consumer learning, business performance, and marketplace data into actionable recommendations that shape brand-building decisions and strengthen consumer engagement across touchpoints.
  • Guide cross-functional teams in applying insights to develop integrated strategies across innovation, product experience, communications, media, and commercial activation.
  • Leverage performance data, consumer learning, and marketplace signals to identify optimization opportunities and improve brand experiences, communications effectiveness, and business outcomes.

 

Innovation & Renovation

  • Lead integrated brand, product, and innovation deliverables aligned to approved strategy, ensuring consistency across communications, product experience, and consumer touchpoints.
  • Own the development and rollout of brand fundamentals, innovation initiatives, communications plans, and commercialization strategies that strengthen brand equity and consumer engagement.
  • Lead new item launch plans across product, communications, and commercial channels, coordinating cross-functional inputs and deliverables to ensure launch readiness and seamless activation.
  • Own execution timelines, key milestones, and deployment of launch content, activation materials, and sell-in tools throughout the I2L lifecycle.
  • Ensure execution reflects approved brand positioning, product claims, messaging, and consumer experience while delivering assets and initiatives that bring the brand strategy to life in market.
  • Partner across cross-functional teams to translate strategy into execution, driving excellence across innovation, launch, and activation initiatives from concept through commercialization.

 

Communications & Unrivaled Superiority for Product & Packaging

  • Lead end-to-end product and communications initiatives across renovation, superiority, packaging, claims, and consumer-facing content, ensuring delivery against approved brand strategy and product agenda priorities.
  • Own alignment between product truth and communication delivery by ensuring claims, messaging, packaging, and consumer experiences are accurate, compliant, and consistent across touchpoints.
  • Lead coordination with Regulatory, R&D, Supply Chain, CD, and agency partners to execute packaging updates, product initiatives, and consumer-facing communications.
  • Lead team in day-to-day management of asset development and deployment, ensuring all materials meet compliance, quality, and brand standards.
  • Lead execution of cross-functional product agenda initiatives, coordinating inputs, timelines, and deliverables to drive seamless implementation across product and communications workstreams.

  • Lead the execution of commercial plans aligned to brand strategy, ensuring pricing, promotion, portfolio, and shopper marketing priorities are effectively translated into market activation.
  • Own cross-functional coordination of inputs across CD, Finance, SRM, and Shopper Marketing teams to deliver integrated commercial and retail execution.
  • Monitor shopper marketing, digital shelf, and eCommerce deliverables, including PDPs, content, assets, and consumer-facing materials that strengthen brand visibility, maintain brand consistency, and engagement.
  • Ensure digital shelf excellence through timely updates, content deployment, and ongoing management of product information and brand assets across channels.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance unmissable visibility, drive shopper conversion, and improve the consumer experience across physical and digital marketplaces.

 

Business Management

  • Lead monthly business reviews (MBP/MBR) for marketing, enterprise forecasting, and annual planning processes by ensuring innovation inputs, new item performance updates, and recommendations that inform business decisions.
  • Champion annual planning, budgeting, and cross-functional business management activities.
  • Monitor performance metrics, deliverables, timelines, and key business initiatives across consumer and product workstreams.
  • Ensure cross-functional inputs to ensure alignment and execution against brand priorities.
  • Monitor executional performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

 

Talent Management 

  • Champion the Nestlé Ways of Winning by setting clear expectations, role modeling desired behaviors, and fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture that enables teams to thrive and deliver business results.
  • Lead by example to motivate and inspire team to exceed performance targets
  • Actively communicate expectations and provide regular feedback against those expectations through a robust performance management process, working with each team member to evaluate performance, provide feedback and training.
  • Work with direct reports to build appropriate development plans and coach team to ensure that the training activities achieve mutual, agreed upon objectives.
  • Participate in talent recruitment and selection to staff the organizations with the best people for current jobs, as well as future leadership, promoting workforce diversity 
  • Fostering the sharing of best practices.

 

Qualifications/Certifications

  • Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) in Marketing or related business field; or equivalent experience
  • MBA preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of brand building management principles and practices.
  • Strong negotiation, agency management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong research and strategic analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and manage agency partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate ambiguity into clear recommendations and action plans.
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and the understanding of calculating risk/return on business decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead projects independently, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

 

Critical Experiences

  • At least 5 years of work experience in brand or product management, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record leading brand strategy, innovation, communications, product experience, or commercial activation initiatives that deliver business results.
  • Demonstrated ability and initiative to drive cross-functional teams to deliver on collective brand goals.
  • Experience leveraging data, research and trends to generate insights to understand consumer behavior (IRI or Nielsen knowledge strongly recommended).
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to develop creative/non-traditional solutions for challenging, undefined problems.
  • Experience managing launches, packaging/claims workstreams, agency deliverables, and integrated activation plans across consumer and commercial touchpoints. 

 

 

 

 

Salary: $119,923.20 to $172,857.00 per year
