POSITION SUMMARY:

As a member of the Syndicated Insights Team within the Strategy and Insights Group (SIG) this individual will help develop analyses and insights grounded in syndicated data for a richer understanding of the Pet Care Category.  This role will collaborate closely with the Marketing and Shopper organizations to effectively leverage and integrate data to reveal new insights that influence successful brand strategies and tactics.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Help develop analytic initiatives for assigned brand and shopper teams.  Provide support to help solve their business issues, help to uncover opportunities, and fill knowledge gaps. 
  • Work to translate business issues into researchable questions and objectives.  Utilize extensive syndicated data resources with the focus being the application of household panel data to better understand Pet Owner purchase behavior.  
  • Analyze data to discover and interpret actionable learnings and contribute to insights that will guide strategic and tactical initiatives.  Help to develop compelling, concise, and fact-based analyses and recommendations.
  • Simplify data into a compelling story that is presented via impactful visuals, written reports and informal presentations. 
  • Embrace implementation of new digital technologies such as Generative AI to improve access to information and speed to insights.
  • Collaborate closely with SIG and on-site research suppliers to effectively manage projects and timelines, as well as, to ensure the highest level of data quality.   

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required. Master’s Degree  in Marketing Research (completed or in progress) preferred.
  • 1+ years’ of CPG Market Research experience
  • 1+ years’ experience using syndicated data tools (NielsenIQ, Circana, PowerBI)

 

Other

  • Experience working in the pet industry is preferred

The approximate pay range for this position is $70,000 to $75,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
