Position Summary
For over 80 years, we’ve set the precedent that a pet food company has a greater duty than just feeding pets. We aspire to be the voice of the category – and we believe such leadership begins with our consumer-centric culture where every innovation and marketing strategy are backed by deep research and insights that push pet nutrition forward. As a Manager, Consumer and Marketplace Insights, you’ll be a key contributor to delivering analysis and insights in support of Generating Demand leadership goals. The role focuses on translating data into clear, actionable insights, partnering closely with cross‑functional teams, communicating through effective storytelling, and identifying trends that inform business decisions and drive impact.
- Drive business results by developing compelling, fact-based, and timely analysis to support Generating Demand Leadership
- Respond to urgent business questions with clear, concise, and accurate analysis
- Effectively communicate and present analysis using story telling in both informal and formal presentations to all levels of the organization
- Collaborate and consult with internal business partners to provide data-oriented solutions and analysis that drives insights and action
- Responsible for on-time and accurate delivery of all syndicated corporate reporting
- Proactively monitor, evaluate, and provide insights on emerging topics and trends
- Partner with Nielsen team to provide consistent and best in class analysis across Categories and brands
- Provide basic analytic tools that offer simulation capabilities to model and evaluate business scenarios
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 7+ years of data analysis and insights experience preferably in the CPG industry (Client- and/or Supplier- side positions) OR a Master’s Degree + 3 year experience
Other
- Experience with NielsenIQ or Circana sales and share data is preferred
The approximate pay range for this position is $114,000 to $158,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
