As a Senior Specialist of Communications, you’ll assist the Petfinder team in building long-term member relationships with our 14K+ shelters and rescue organizations. Bring your passion for animal welfare, as you and your team create and execute communication strategies for Petfinder shelters and rescues through national conferences, webinars, and email communications. 

 

  • Execute Petfinder’s national animal welfare conference strategy through the coordination of booth presence, messaging, ecosystem connections, engagement tactics, sponsorships and payments
  • Create run of show plan for conference and communicate with internal Petfinder stakeholders attending event
  • Lead the creative development, execution, and analysis of the eCRM strategy for Petfinder members, including newsletters, adhocs, webinar marketing, and list creation/segmentation
  • Create and manage the email content calendar, ensuring a consistent and strategic approach to member communications
  • Create communication briefs and collaborate with creative agency to ensure high quality content that resonates with members and aligns with marketing objectives
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
  • Create and host educational webinars to provide insights, best practices and exclusive resources to inspire and engage members

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years experience in event marketing, project management or related role

 

Other

  • Pet Welfare experience is preferred

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $76,000 to $105,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position. Nestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k with Company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.
