Location: Candidates near St. Louis preferred but can be remote nationwide

About the Role:
Purina is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Vet Technician Communications Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between veterinary professionals and our sales, marketing, and veterinary communications teams. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing programs that enhance veterinary technician engagement and advocacy.
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with sales, marketing on veterinary technician programs
- Program Implementation: Implement key programs in collaboration with vet sales and veterinary communication teams.
- Outreach and Advocacy: Assist VET marketing with veterinary technician outreach, advocacy, and programming to strengthen relationships
Requirements:
- Licensure: Active CVT, LVT licensure (or equivalent). A bachelor's degree is not required.
- Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of practice experience and/or 2 years of industry experience
- Additional Certification: Certification in nutrition is a plus
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Proven track record in program development and implementation
- Passion for integration of nutrition into veterinary medical practice
