Position Summary

 

We’re driven by our goal to elevate the importance of our pet food categories with each of our retailers, leading to our larger mission to enrich the lives of pets and the people who love them. Nestlé Purina’s Market Development Organization (MDO) is what we call our hub of business excellence across Category Development, Market Development, Strategic Revenue Management and Shopper Marketing—the team that guides category and share growth through insight-driven strategies and proactive solutions. As the Sr. Manager SRM Analytics & Capabilities, you’ll have a strong understanding of statical modeling and the ability to deliver insights to various groups through presentations while catering to an array of learning styles. With a robust communication style, you’ll be the point of contact and manage vendors while also collaborating with additional departments and including the right teams and individuals from the start. 

 

  • Responsible for development of advanced Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) analytics (e.g., elasticities, thresholds, other modeling, etc.) & tools that incorporate those analytics
  • Work with key business partners to ensure external vendors have the resources they need as well as following organization protocols
  • Help develop long-term vision for SRM advanced analytics
  • Partner with internal business partners on using advanced analytics, including helping business partners interpret results
  • Collaborate with associates responsible for advanced analytics to ensure consistent approaches as well as shared learnings
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices to ensure that Purina operates at the forefront of price modeling
  • Develop front end visualizations for modeling tools and analytics

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in STEM, Marketing or Finance
  • 7+ years of experience in analytics
  • 4+ years of experience in data modeling

 

Other

  • Experience in the management & deployment of price modeling within an organization is preferred
  • In-depth practical knowledge of strengths and limitations of various modeling approaches is preferred
  • Strong data storytelling skills and ability to distill complex datasets into clear narratives and recommendations is preferred
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI is preferred

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $147,000 to $175,000 Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
