Position Summary
As a Communications Head, you will be responsible for driving and strengthening the equity and health of global priority brands. Acting as a sparring partner to brand and category leads, you will deliver excellent brand fundamentals and unforgettable consumer experiences across all channels, enabling strong business results in line with GBS ambition. This role involves leading Consumer Insights, Creative Excellence, CX strategy, and digital transformation for global billionaire brands, managing content strategy and operating models, and ensuring design excellence while collaborating closely with zones and markets.
A Day in the Life of a Communications Head
- Engage with the Brand Council to build and implement scaled campaigns and programs across key markets and zones
- Identify and support the development of global strategic partnerships that enhance brand health and visibility
- Drive the adoption of global decision-making frameworks, championing data-driven decisions across the organization
- Raise the standard for brand building by ensuring unrivalled superiority, unmissable visibility, and unforgettable communications
- Collaborate with category and brand teams to develop strong, consumer-centric brand fundamentals, including Consumer Portraits and Brand Essence
- Lead the development of integrated communication strategies and creative frameworks to elevate brand engagement across all channels, with a focus on digital and social media
- Work closely with creative and media agencies to deliver culturally resonant and impactful communication plans
- Lead design excellence across global brands to ensure iconicity and relevance
- Ensure that the brand experience is consistent across all touchpoints by collaborating with the Group Marketing Excellence team
- Lead a team of functional experts and develop capabilities across all functional expertises leveraging also Group Marketing Excellence expertise and resources
What will make you successful
- Seasoned professional with extensive consumer marketing experience within a world‑class FMCG/CPG environment, bringing strong marketing expertise
- Solid advertising agency experience across account management, strategic planning, or executive leadership
- Proven ability to navigate complex, cross-functional teams at a global scale
- Deep understanding of brand strategy and integrated communications across all channels
- Ability to shape impactful brand experiences through strategic and creative leadership
- Confidence in navigating ambiguity with a problem-solving mindset
- Trust-building across teams to foster co-creation and shared success
- Leadership skills to balance strategic oversight with operational excellence
- Strong grasp of the evolving digital landscape and comfort with AI tools
- Fluency in English
