Position Summary
As a Legal Intern you will be part of the Group Legal & Compliance team in charge of IT, E-commerce, Digital and Data Privacy matters.
You will be assisting the team across a broad range of legal topics such as e-commerce, digital platforms, influencer marketing, data privacy, and artificial intelligence. You will work closely with internal stakeholders in IT, marketing and e-commerce teams across the globe gaining practical exposure to how digital laws are applied in a complex multinational environment.
We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate who is passionate about digital regulations and emerging technologies, and keen to develop both legal and business experience in a dynamic field.
A Day in the Life of a Legal Intern
You will be in charge of assisting the legal team in:
- Providing legal advice and pragmatic business solutions to internal stakeholders to support Nestlé’s strategic initiatives,
- Conducting legal research, anticipating legislative developments and preparing analysis on complex legal matters in relation to digital regulations and emerging technologies,
- Organizing global communities of practice and reviewing internal documentation and processes, including presentations, toolkits, templates, training materials and internal newsletters, and
- Providing proactive support to the team on ongoing projects and cross‑functional initiatives.
What will make you successful
- Currently completing or recent graduate with a Master’s degree in Law with a focus on IT/digital, e-commerce, data protection or artificial intelligence regulations, EU law knowledge is a plus
- Prior experience as an intern in-house or within a law firm is a plus
- Ability to synthesize complex legal concepts into clear, concise and actionable guidance
- Proactive, collaborative, curious and autonomous
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in both oral and written English; French is a plus
