Position Summary  

 

As a Product Machines Intern, you will play a crucial role within Nespresso’s marketing team, providing essential support to Product Managers during the launch of cutting-edge products, including coffee machines. This internship presents a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product marketing while engaging with the technical aspects of product development.

 

A Day in the Life of a Product Machines Intern 

 

Collaborate with Product Managers

  • Work closely with Product Managers assist in the creation of detailed product briefs that define functionalities, limited editions, market positioning, technical specifications, aesthetic parameters, and target cost/price.

 

Consumer Surveys

  • Support the organization and execution of consumer surveys to gather valuable feedback. Contribute to the analysis of survey results in collaboration with relevant teams, helping to prepare briefs that identify target markets and work alongside the Insights team.

 


Product Support

  • Assist Product Managers with various product-related tasks, including the development of packaging, user manuals, quick start guides, and technical documentation. Help create visual assets such as packshots and instructional videos and manage translations for different markets.

 


Cross-Department Coordination

  • Facilitate coordination between Product Managers and various departments, including Connectivity, Development, Engineering, Commercial, and Communication, to streamline product development and launch activities.

 

What will make you successful

 

  •  Student or fresh graduate in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Brief experience in managing product portfolios, including size and business performance, is plus
  • Initial experience in project management within a corporate or academic setting, particularly in technical projects.
  • Strong interest in high-end FMCG retail brands and sustainability, coupled with a desire to learn about household appliances and market trends.
  • Natural leadership skills, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, demonstrating a passion for precision in work.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Affinity with Power BI, Excel is a plus.
  • Fluency in English, any other language is a plus.
