About the Department: We are a team that works closely with Marketing, Sales and Revenue Management departments. Our goal is to create a strategy for the development of culinary and dessert categories and the WINIARY brand, translate it into specific plans, activations in sales channels and with customers. We also actively participate in introduction of new products to the market, taking into account trends, market data, consumer and shopper behaviour.

 

To our team we are looking for a person who can think strategically, as well as act effectively and boldly - a person who will be responsible for the development of the Cooking Soups and Cooking Sauces category.

 

You will be responsible for:

Independent management of the assigned category – Cooking Soups and Cooking Sauces, in particular:

  • Developing and implementing category strategy aligned with business objectives and customer needs, based on category growth drivers
  • Identifying growth opportunities for the assigned category in various channels and customers based on insights from data from various sources (including shopper, consumer and sales data)
  • Channels prioritisation, defining roles of channels, customers and tasks
  • 4P channel strategy – defining picture of success for the category specific to each of the channels – the right assortment, placement, pricing & promo strategy (in cooperation with Revenue Management team)
  • Monitoring market trends (sales, market shares, etc.) & competitors’ activities, creating and presenting category analyses followed by concrete recommendations as well as selling stories for novelties and key initiatives inside and outside the organization
  • Working closely with Marketing to define key KPIs for novelties and in-outs (distribution targets, speed to market and rate of sale assumptions). Prepare placement and promo recommendations
  • Day to day cooperation with Marketing and Sales on delivery of business objectives set for the assigned category (including sales growth, market shares, profit)
  • Management of short, medium and long-term category commercial planning

  • You know and actively use various data and analytical tools, including Nielsen Discover, Gfk and others, you are able to draw conclusions from them and build recommendations
  • Your strength is analytical thinking and creativity in searching for effective solutions to challenges
  • You are open to cross-functional cooperation, communicate effectively with others
  • You are proactive, independent and courageous in action
  • You can organize your own work well and manage many projects at the same time
  • You have university degree (preferred fields: economics, management, marketing or related)
  • You are proficient in using MS Office, especially MS Excel (pivot tables, data combining functions) and Power Point,
  • You communicate freely in English
