Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a self-starting, results-oriented Marketing Manager to lead SHREDDED WHEAT, one of our key local brands & a strategic priority.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind the brand’s success, crafting and executing outstanding marketing strategies that align with our growth ambitions and enhance this local brand.

You will be part of our Cereal Partners UK team, based at our head office in Welwyn Garden City, and will report directly to the Local Brands Marketing Manager. The role will involve an indirect report for an Assistant Marketing Manager.

A day in the life of a Marketing Manager…

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Develop and execute robust long-term growth plans that support strategic business objectives and growth ambitions.
  • Build brand equity by developing & executing TTL advertising campaigns.
  • Develop the long-term innovation pipeline. Lead Existing Product Development (EPD) and New Product Development (NPD) initiatives to strengthen and expand the product portfolio.
  • Deliver business targets and brand growth by leveraging commercial levers and channel strategies in collaboration with the Commercial Development Team (CDT).
  • Own and manage the brand P&L, leveraging commercial insight to drive strategic decisions that optimise revenue, margin, and long-term brand equity.
  • Lead the packaging redesign to reflect brand positioning and drive shelf impact.
  • Track and analyse industry and competitor trends to proactively evolve growth plans in a fast-paced, competitive FMCG environment.
  • Includes a dotted-line management relationship with one Assistant Marketing Manager, providing guidance, prioritisation support, and performance input in collaboration with their direct manager.

Already operating at Marketing Manager or experienced Senior Brand Manager level, you bring a proven track record of driving growth through bold thinking, consumer insight, and flawless execution. You bring energy and creativity, collaborating with cross-functional teams and agency partners to deliver standout campaigns and innovation.
